Garman Homes Partners with Habitat for Humanity of Orange County!

Garman Homes Partners with Habitat for Humanity of Orange County!

We are excited and honored to be working with Habitat for Humanity, Orange County, NC on a mixed-income community in Chapel Hill! When complete, Weavers Grove will include 237 single family homes, townhomes, duplexes, and condominiums - with 101 of these homes purchased by Habitat homebuyers.

This is Habitat’s bold answer to the affordable housing crisis and is the most ambitious project in the organization’s 37-year history. They hope that the innovative Weavers Grove community will be a national housing model that inspires other Habitat affiliates to pursue mixed-income developments.

Cameron Medlin, our VP of Operations, said it best "Weavers Grove is a perfect match for us because it ties our mission, our values, and our craft in one place. It is a way to touch more people in a different way and impact people in a different way than you are seeing in this market. We’re able to be part of something bigger than us as a home building company. Here you are able to meet people where they are in their life and be part of their story no matter what that is and we’re able to be a part of that. We love partnering with [Habitat] and honoring people's lives in a way that we might not be able to normally. I think it will be a chapter of our story that we will never soon forget."

What Our
Homebuyers are

My experience with Garman homes has been absolutely fantastic! I can't say that about some of the other builders I work with but the team at Garman is unbelievable. The difference is that they treat the buyers like family and they treat the new home as if it were their own. They have an amazing process which makes buyers feel very engaged and excited. No one is ever left wondering what is happening with the construction of their new home. They even have an on-time guarantee! If the home isn't completed when promised, they will contribute towards closing costs. Although I seriously doubt this has ever been necessary. Their seamless process gets it done!
